So, the challenge here is to get fabulous tone on these lower notes and to assist this by linking the fingerings seamlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Look at the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/learn-flute.com\/index.php\/technique\/tone-basics\/\" target=\"_blank\">tone exercise for lower notes<\/a> first and really push for maximum projection. It&#8217;s always the small things that make big differences in the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work on this pentatonic scale (below) so that you&#8217;re familiar with the framework of the study. It&#8217;s a slight bodge at the end as the study was quite happy by itself: just add an extra long note at the very end &#8211; the tune gets played <em>three<\/em> times!
